Eider's 2nd Chapter

Welcome back ladies and gents, I know it's been a very short time since I updated last, since I just updated yesterday, but I wanted to play and update again already because I won't get to again probably until next weekend.  Because I have to house sit my best friend's house for the rest of the week and this weekend and my laptop is way too old and icky to handle any games but online flash games, so..

On with the show!

Eider, there's a stray cat yowling for attention outside!  Go coo over it.

Eider: I thought you couldn't tell me what to do unless it had to do with a wish?

It's a free interaction, and the only one I'm gonna do.  Go say hi to the kitty, I don't care if it's deformed, I love kitties!

"Oh, who is a cute wittle kitty kitty?  You are!  And you're so clean, you don't even have any flies buzzing around you.."

Eider: I.. honestly don't know whether to find it cute, or to run screaming in the opposite direction..

Until EA gives me a solution or I buy a compatible graphics card, just find it cute.

(Fun fact: horses, cats, dogs, and raccoons are all deformed for me.  Deer and all the small animals?  Absolutely fine.)

 By the way Eider, I'm sure your neighbors appreciate you running around outside in your undies.

 

Oh, your carpool is here Eider.  Stop playing with the cat now (he decided to "have fun" with the cat after he cooed over it).

Eider: Would you make up your mind?  Introduce yourself to the kitty Eider, stop playing with the kitty Eider..

Did you say something?  Anyway Eider, since Dustin is your boss and you want to be friends with him, you should "grade boss' papers" while you're at work.  It will help you doubly, working on getting a promotion and becoming friends with Dustin.

 

Eider: It worked!  He became my friend, and he gave me an opportunity to improve my job performance.  Not that it needs improving, it's doing pretty well already.

That's great, Eider!  But just because you're his friend now doesn't mean you can creep on him like that..

Eider: I'm not creeping on him!  I was just thinking about how I want to be his best friend.

Sigh.  Why can't you obsess over someone romantically?  This has nothing to do with your LTW, unless you're gay.

Eider: No, no, no, I just want a best friend!  You know what I should do when I get home?  I should have a great party.  I want to be Dustin's best friend, and I want to befriend all of my co-workers, you know..

    

"Heeey, everyone!  I'm having another party, and this one's bound to be better than the first because it's not my first party ever anymore.  There's gonna be music, chess, cookies, turkey, and salad! ... yeah, same stuff as before, but this time is different.  You'll come anyway?  Great!"

Eider: So, I ended up having more guests to my party this time!  Yumi brought her son Leighton, and Buster Clavell decided to just.. crash my party.  I greeted everyone, and Yumi went to wash my dirty dishes and after she did, she told me how much my party sucked and ran out.

Really?  Wow, yeah, I'd think that just doing dishes would make a party suck..

Eider: I don't know why she left, it was Leighton that needed to go to work and he didn't leave.  Anyway, after she left I went to talk to Beau.  I was gonna try to become friends with him but then he randomly turned and left in the middle of our conversation..

  

I.. am not sure I like the way Dustin was staring at you the entire time you were dancing..

Eider: He was staring at me weirdly?

Yes, he.. oh, never mind.

Eider: Okay.. well, he left, and I kind of want to be best friends with Leighton now.

You just met him, and you already want to be his best friend?  You're not even regular friends yet.  I hope you remember that your goal in life is to be the boyfriend of ten different Sims.  Unless you're planning on becoming Leighton or Dustin's boyfriend, you're not doing very on your way to becoming a heartbreaker.

Eider: I'm adjusting to this new town, gimme time!  You have my age set on long, so I have plenty of time.

  

Eider: Leighton is really fun to hang out with.  He told me all about his son, Sam, and we talked about quite a few more things, then I decided to tell him a ghost story.

That story must be pretty scary, huh?  Look at Leighton's face!  You've terrified the poor guy.

Eider: Yes, it was a truly terrifying story.  So terrifying I can't tell anyone else.

  

Eider: After I finished my story, we had dinner.  I think he had cookies because they're comfort food and my story was just that scary, haha.  But then the toilet broke, and I may have thrown a little bit of a fit.. since I was absolutely exhausted by that point..

Yeah, sorry about that, but I was letting you have your fun, I was going to let you eat, use the toilet and go to bed in your own time, but you just kept spending time with Leighton.

 

Eider: I'm tired.  Can I skip work today?

Sorry Eider, but I would only let you skip work if you wished for it and you didn't actually wish for it, so you're going.

 

So, how was work?

Eider: It was good.. became best friends with Dustin and got closer to Beau.  But didn't get a promotion.  My performance wasn't exactly good.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with my bed.

Okay then, sleep well.  You had a successful day.

 

"No... no, the dishes.. they're taking over! Zzzzdish.. no..."

If they're bothering you, just invite Yumi over.

As he slept, he got an opportunity to watch Argyle Sinclair at the bookstore.

 

Decided to try your hand at cooking, huh?

Eider: Yeah, but I didn't want to try using the stove the first time I cooked.  I've never heard good things about that.

Probably was a good plan.  Though I'm.. not entirely sure how sanitary it is to be cooking in what you're wearing.  Or rather, what you're not wearing.

Eider: I'm the only one that's gonna be eating the salad.

  

In case you're wondering, yes, I only took this picture because of his facial expression.  There really is not other point to it.

"My house stinks.  And my toilet is broken.  Ew."

And then he went to play chess, which I would have a picture of but I need to limit myself or I'd post a picture of everything.

 

Eider: You won't take a picture of me challenging the Grim Reaper to a game of chess, but you'll take a picture of me reading?  Priorities.  You're doing it wrong.

You weren't really challenging the Grim Reaper, Eider!  You were just playing chess.

For some reason, when I hovered my cursor over his action, it said he was challenging the Grim Reaper to a game of chess, but I never saw any Grim Reaper.  I think our boy may have a tiny screw loose.

  Oh, and he has become obsessed with games.  I bought him a hopscotch thing, but now he wants a computer, a slip-n-slide, a gnubb set, a dart board..

While at work.. he forgot aaaaall about the games..

Eider: *rolls the wishes to kiss Beau for the first time and to skinny dip with Yumi*

Whaaaaaaaat?!  I.. that... I didn't see those coming.  If he was going to go for a guy, I thought it'd be Leighton with his completely random, sudden obsession with him..

Hey, you want to kiss him, so how about you invite Beau over?

Eider: Okay, sure.  Sounds good.

"Hey Beeeeau, wanna come over?  No, it's not a party this time.  Just.. you know, since we're friends now and all, we can hang out.."

You know he's married, right, Eider?  To a woman.

Eider: Yeah, but he didn't seem to mind when I gave him some flowers.

He may have just been startled and accepted because he didn't know what else to do.  Oh, and look what you made him do - he impaled himself on the mailbox.

Eider: He'll be fine.

   

Hahaha, I told you, Eider.  He's not interested in guys.

Eider: But he accepted the flowers!  And we're on a date now!  I.. I don't know what went wrong.. maybe I should ask him to spend the night..

It won't work.  Not until you're best friends at least, I don't think.

    

"Hey, Beau, would you want to..?"

 "I know what you're going to ask, Eider, and no, I don't want to spend the night.  Sorry, I have a wife at home, and you're nice and all but.. you're not her."

See, I told you.  Now go have dinner, you're starving.

   

Wow.. you'd think that Beau was the one that got denied.

Eider: What?  Why d'you say that?  I'm the one sulking.

He, uh.. kicked your garbage can over.  And then went and is relaxing on your bed.

Eider: What!  He knocked my garbage can over?  And is relaxing.. I'm so confused..

     

The date ended up being great, so maybe you do have a chance with him after all.  First, since he left and you're exhausted, you should go to bed.  We can try again in the morning.

Eider: I'll ask him to break up with Victoria tomorrow after work.. if he does, then he'll be willing to flirt with me.  Mmm.. I am tired.  Goodnight, Cyazurai.

Goodnight, Eider.  Unfortunately I won't see you again for several days, and you won't get to ask Beau to dump his wife for a guy who is later just going to dump him and break his heart-
